On our last day of skiing we headed to the Freestone Inn to begin our ski day. A narrow, curvy road provided a challenge for the long bus, subsequently Kevin and many assistants laboured to free the bus from it's unintended parking spot. The majority of Skiers however, headed off on yet another splendidly sunny day to ski the north end of the Methow Valley Community Trails. The scenery was lovely as we skied along undulating trails, through forests, beside the Methow River, and across a wide meadow with a rock face towering above our heads. Once again, for many, our ski day ended at the hip Mazama General Store. Skiers soaked up it's ambience, sampled pastries, soups and coffee, and later boarded our bus for Winthrop, stopping enroute to pick-up Skiers at Browns Farm.
