On February 21, 2017 fifty-four Vancouver Skiers began their first day of the Methow Valley Ski Trip. We skied for five days, with our first ski day at China Ridge, Princeton. After a superb day on the China Ridge trails we drove to Osoyoos for a night at the Best Western. On Day 2 we travelled to Winthrop in Washington state, skiing at Loup Loup enroute. After another excellent ski day, we drove to Winthrop and stayed at the Winthrop Inn for 4 nights. By day we frollicked on the fabulous Methow Valley trails, and in the evening we explored the quaint town of Winthrop and discovered it's historic treasures and culinary delights. On Day 6, we enjoyed a leisurely trip back to Vancouver with a stop in duty free, customs, and Princeton. Our Trip Leaders were Fred Peters and Dawn Wimbles. Thank you for leading our very excellent trip to the Methow Valley! Photographs below by Joan Boxall, Eda Kadar and Larry Wilson. |
